First rnd of petals: With bright yellow yarn, *ch 7, sc in 2nd st from hook, hdc in next 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, sk 1 st on center, sl st in next st *, repeat from * to * around, sl st in same st as first sl st; 2nd rnd of petals: turn flower over to back, sl st in first st that was skipped when making first rnd of petals, repeat from * to * around, sl st in same st as first sl st, leaving 1 yard of yarn, fasten off.
Finishing: Thread yarn on yarn needle, weave yarn thro back of petal in 3rd st, then weave yarn thro back of petal opposite, continue around, join, fasten off--this will keep the petals from curling too much. Weave in ends.
