SIZE: Infant, small; med in ( ). (these booties will stretch to fit )

Baby yarn: Approx 1/2 oz.

F hook

GUAGE: 11 sts = 2 in, 14 rows (7 ridges) = 2 in.

<NOTE> Start at back and work to toe.

<NOTE> Work in back loop only through out.

Leaving 1 yard of yarn at the beginning to sl st back seam, ch 45 (47).

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each ch across, ch 1, turn. 44 (46)

Rows 2-10 (2-12): Sc in blo across, ch1, turn.

Row 11 (13): Sc in blo in 33 (35) sts, leaving last 11 sts unworked, ch 1, turn.

Row 12 (14): Sc in blo in 22 (24) sts, leaving last 11 sts unworked, ch 1, turn.

Row 13-21 (15-23): Repeat Row 2.

Row 22-23 (24-25): Sc 2 sts tog across, ch 1, turn.

Leaving 1 1/2 yds of yarn, fasten off. Weave yarn thro remaining sts and draw up snugly.

Fold bootie in half with ridges going up and down, sl st front seam. sl st back seam.

Weave in ends.
