Thank you, for visiting the historic Posey County Courthouse. The Posey County Circuit Court has been in continuous session since 1816. The present Courthouse was built in 1876 at a cost of $99,000.00 and houses Indiana's 11th Judicial Circuit Court, the Clerk of the Court, the Posey County Election Office and the Posey Circuit Court Probation Department. Our MissionThe mission of the Posey Circuit Court is to provide judicial services for the citizens of Posey County and others within its jurisdiction according to the constitutions and laws of the United States and the state of Indiana consistent with the highest standards of excellence and integrity in an environment that respects users of the Court's services, employees of the Court, and other governmental agencies.
Court ProfileThe Posey Circuit Court is a court established by the Constitution of the state of Indiana. The Court formally is known as the Circuit Court of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Indiana.
